Dr Aziza Van Der Schyff a passionate female Paediatrician who takes the priorities of your child at heart.  Kids are jewels - We need to protect, love and cherish them.

She  s​tudied at University of Cape Town and completed Paediatric specialisation at University of Stellenbosch. With 17 years' experience.

Dr Van Der Schyff is a Paediatrician based in the Southern Suburbs. An UCT graduate who did her internship at Tygerberg hospital and during this time realized that she enjoyed working with and caring for children. This lead to her developing an absolute love of Paediatrics and doing her Paediatric specialization at the University of Stellenbosch, predominantly at Tygerberg hospital. She has worked in the public sector and has experienced the limited resources and difficulties in patient management. 

 

She is also a health advocate and has been involved in medical advocacy work within the South African Medical Association. She has been involved at local and national level.

 

Therefore she strives to follow a work ethic within private practice to empower and educate parents to promote healthy and thriving children. ''As a Paediatrician, caring for children involves listening to your instincts as well as always listening to the parents and helping them to follow their instincts. With this treatment ethic I want to provide a holistic approach to your family''.

 

Ranging from offering advice, assistance and medical care to your loved one....Your child's well-being is important to me while assisting you as a parent with knowledge and treatment guidelines. Caring for children and providing a holistic approach to the family is of critical importance.
